Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey honors the world's first-known African American master distiller, Nearest Green. Through its HBCU Old Fashioned Challenge, Uncle Nearest is raising $1.4M for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
To raise awareness for the challenge and help raise funds, we planned, marketed, and executed an activation for the DMV Uncle Nearest Team. The event was held at Barcode DC.
The event featured HBCU DJs, live digital illustrations, whiskey tasting, and pop-up store from apparel brand BLKXCLLNC.
